A Heart for God

Today we looked at the story of Samuel anointing David (1 Samuel 16:1–13; Acts 13:22) David had a heart for God and we can too. God sent Samuel to anoint David to be the next king of Israel. David was a man after God’s own heart. God is concerned about the kind of person we are on the inside.
Today we discovered that the things we do and attitudes we have that are important to God. We chose one to develop in our own lives.
God sees me with an eagle eye!

Don't forget to invite your friends to Camp Iwilligoway. See you all next week for more fun!

Have Faith When You're In Trouble

Matthew 2:13-18 & Proverbs 11:8a

Because of Joseph's obedience God provided a way for Jesus and his family to hide from King Herod. It was no surprise that Herod did not find them. A lot of times we have problems or situations that we would like to disappear from or we would like for those problems to go away. God is at work no matter what kind of trouble we may be in. No matter what God loves us and we can give our problems to him and know that He is in control.

Tonight we gave our problems and requests to God. We have faith even when we are in trouble.
